Relationships

A good relationship doesn’t mean the absence of discussions or disagreements.

A good relationship means that both parts put a lot of work on it.

Yes, work.

Work to understand yourself. Your issues, childhood traumas, triggers, and needs.

Work to understand all of this in your partner/friend/parent/sister/brother.

Work to get to communicate your thoughts and deepest feelings.

Work to learn to listen and to validate.

Work!

And don’t expect to be good at your relationship and on everything else in your life.

That’s not possible.

You are gonna have to choose which areas of your life you will sacrifice to have time and energy to work on your relationship/s.

So choose wisely.
